You've always been the best person that I have ever met, and you'll always be my favorite Uncle. If ever I needed something, I know you wouldn't have denied it of me. I just wish that I had gotten to spend more time with you. I love you! Rest in peace.

I love you Dad, I'm so sorry I couldn't have been there physically, however mentally I never left your side for a second. Such an unique individual full of love and kindness and patience... because of you I will always fight for what I believe in. Our whole family loves you, Carl, and we will miss you very much. You are a dear person with a beautiful heart, and we admire you for many reasons and we enjoyed our times together. So sorry that you left your beloved Gwen and Kevin so soon, you loved them dearly and I know that you were the light of their lives as well. May God bless you richly in heaven, in Jesus' wonderful presence. And may God comfort your family now and give them the assurance that we will all be reunited someday -- in a place where there are no more tears and no more good-byes.

So sorry to hear of Carl's passing. It doesn't seem that long ago he was working with us in Escondido. He was always so nice to us in the office and I lost count of the number of times he helped Ray out by trading stand-by days.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during such a difficult time. Please know that many people here will remember Carl fondly.
